PALIN: Barbara (Lorondeau) of RR#5 Seaforth

Peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, November 13, 2025 of RR 5 Seaforth in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Palin (2009).  Cherished mother of Beth and Mark King of Seaforth, and Bonnie and Raube Beuerman of Dublin. Proud grandmother of Lauren King (Evan), Ashton King; Brittney and Grant Jacobs, Courtney and Cameron Perkins, Kyle and Hayley Pryce, Arick Beuerman, Alexis Beuerman and great-grandmother of Aubrey, Kellen, Nolan, Iris, Avery, William, Averley, and Daisy. Dear sister-in-law of Marie Palin of Seaforth. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clifford and Jean (Joyes) Lorondeau and a brother-in-law Jim Palin.

Barb was a proud and devoted member of the Anglican Parish of the Holy Spirit Church (formerly St. Thomas Anglican Church), where she faithfully served for many years. She will be dearly missed by her loyal four-legged companion, Maggie, who rarely left her side and accompanied her on many cherished daily walks.

Barb’s funeral service will be held at Anglican Parish of the Holy Spirit, 21 Jarvis Street North, Seaforth on Friday, November 21st at 1 PM with Rev. Mary Farmer Officiating. Following the service a reception and celebration of Barb’s life will be held in the church hall at 2:30 PM. Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Parish of the Holy Spirit, or the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

I have many fond memories visiting my uncle Clifford, aunt Jean and my cousin Barbara Jean on their farm in Staples during the sixty’s.
Every Christmas day about 10 years in a row, lots of days in-between. Riding the tractor was a joy ride.
