Noreen passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, in her 83rd year.
Survived by her sister Mary Doig (Ken) of Seaforth, her extended Mitchell famiIy members, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husbands James (Jimmy) Mitchell and GeraId Prout, and by her sister IiIian Sterry (nee Powell).
At Noreens request, cremation has taken pIace and a memoriaI service wiII be heId at Egmondville United Church, 26, Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with a reception immediateIy foIIowing in the church haII. FuneraI arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.

All who knew Moreen will remember her for her smile and friendliness. Another loss for our town. She will be missed.
To our old neighbour and friend…our thoughts are with all your family and friends at this time. You always had a laugh that would light up the room and a mischievous twinkle in your eye that made life fun. Rest in peace Noreen.

Cherish the memories of such a wonderful lady! I will remember Noreen for her laughter and all her stories. She holds a special place in my heart as my middle name was after her, and she always joked about it. The story of how it came about is quite funny!! Love to the family.

I got the privilege to know (Auntie) Noreen thru my special friends Ethan and Parker! She was such a friendly and caring lady! All the children thru the years have loved her! She always stopped to have a chat with us~ We are going to miss her heaven just got a special angel! We have another special angel watching over us~
