Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, August 5,  2004. Marion (Forbes) Porter of Exeter in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Porter (1999). Dear mother of Lois Porter of Niagara-on-the-Lake and Darlene and Douglas Geoffrey of Exeter.  Dear grandmother of Rochelle and Lee Gibbings, Gregory Geoffrey and his fiancÚe Michelle Snow, and David Geoffrey; and Corey and Caley Vanular and great-grandmother of Ryan Gibbings. Dear sister-in-law of Alice Porter of Goderich. Predeceased by her parents James Cluny MacPherson Forbes and Bertha Crow, brothers Neville and Walter and sisters Hilda Tyndall, Jane Carver and Isabella Stewart. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on  Friday  2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7th 2004 at  2 PM  with Rev. Paul Ross officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to South Huron Hospital Palliative Care or the Exeter Library, Children’s Reading Program would be appreciated by the family.
