“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance” Eccl 3:1-4

Condolences for the family of “MYALL: Arlene (Martin) of Arva”

Condolence from Jean Cooper on September 14th, 2023 7:44 PM

Arlene was my favourite cousin. As a child, my family, including my sister Marilyn and I, visited Collingwood for a couple of weeks every summer, so my Dad and Mom could reconnect with family. Times spent with Arlene were filled with giggles and lots of fun. Our family often stayed with my Grandparents, who also were in Collingwood, but as soon as we arrived, my sister and I had to know “ Where’s Arlene?” And “ What’s Arlene doing?” I will never forget what I thought was the most beautiful dog I’d ever seen , that happened to live at Arlene’s house. “Star” was a very special part of our summers, as we didn’t have a dog at home. I had the very good fortune to reconnect with Arlene, in London a few years ago, and we enjoyed chatting about those old times on several occasions. I’ll treasure my memories of those summers, and to this day, it doesn’t seem like summer til I’ve had a few days in Magical Collingwood. Arlene, you’ll remain close in my heart always. Sending Condolences to Family. She was a Wonderful Soul.
