At home, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, of Lucan, in her 64th year. Beloved wife of Bob Munro. Loving mother of Shane Munro and Cassandra Martin of Exeter, Jason Munro and Tara Doucette of Cole Harbour NS, Brian and Jean Munro of North River NS, Cory Munro and Cherie Mahoney of Lucan, Jessica Doxtator of London, Quinton Doxtator of London, Trey Munro of Lucan. Daughter of Alice Clarke and Gene Kelly of Enterprise, and the late William Jackson (1993). Dear grandmother Maiah, Jackson, Carter; Emma, Brooke, Cameron, Sydney; and Charlette. Dear sister and sister-in-law Nancy and Stan Hodge of Aylmer, Cathy and David Rusling of Simcoe, Carol Jackson and Dorothy Stewart of London, Stephen Jackson of Toronto, and Nancy Martin. Wanda will be sadly missed by the Munro family and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her brother Mark (2011).
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Saturday, December 20th from 1-2 PM prior to the memorial service, which will be held at 2 PM. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to the VON Middlesex Elgin would be appreciated by the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Wanda passing, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. She put a lot of love and care into her family and she so enjoyed watch each person take another step forward. And how each of you looked after her the last few years Sheila

Our hearts go out to you at this most difficult time. We had many good times with her working at Kongskilde and at gatherings before that. She was a wonderful lady with a kind heart!

You were the first sister that I met from the “Jackson” family. You smile and kindness was always appreciated. To those of us left behind, take comfort in knowing that Mark her baby brother was waiting for her in heaven to show her the way.
I will always remember Wanda as easy going, cheerful, accepting, selfless,welcoming and goodhearted. She had a fantastic smile and contagious laugh and has left many fond memories for friends and family. My thoughts are with all of you at this very difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Wanda numerous times at the school where we both did a lot of volunteer things.She always had such a positive and caring way about her.There were many times that she would bring Trey with her and I used to think “Wow what an amazing person she is to be able to do everything she does”That actually sums it all up….she was an amazing person.It saddens me knowing that she left this world not realizing just how special she really was.Remember all the good memories and hold her in your hearts forever.My thoughts and prayers are with you.
My heart goes out to all of the family. Her love has touched us all, her peaceful ways will be carried with us. May she be welcomed on the other side by the open arms of her brother Mark. May they together watch over us as they comfort one another.
While we were not privileged to have met Wanda, myself and the staff of Carter’s Osh Kosh wish to pass on our condolences to her family. Not a day goes by that we don’t think of Cherie and how desperately we would have liked to lessen her sadness. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Wanda was a wonderful, kind woman and I will always cherish the many memories I have of her from the times we would drive up to visit or when we go to White Lake in the summer. Prayers and hugs to you and your family
