Lois was such a special person to our family. I have so many wonderful memories of her like the year of the big snow storm when she invited us for Christmas breakfast. She got us our summer jobs working in the corn fields and I would also go to work with her when she needed extra help in the office. We can’t forget about the Halloween popcorn balls!! I had the pleasure of working with Lois on the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation Board and Conservation Dinner Committee. A woman who was always willing to tackle a project and then follow through to see its completion. She kept meticulous notes for her committee when planning the Conservation Dinner, making for a successful fundraiser each year. What a wonderful ambassador for her community and the Foundation . I am thankful to have had the opportunity to cross paths with her over the years.
