Marg, Jeremy, Tim, Chad, and families, The world has lost yet another great man. We have always admired Gerald, for many things. His love for family, for first and foremost. When Don ‘s Mother was in the hospital, Gerald sat with us until the end, He was not intrusive, he just wanted us to know he was there if we needed him. His presence there was such a comfort. He many times over the years, used his expertise in dry walling, in our home. Once again, he was always there, available when ever we needed him. Gerald was a “what you see, is what you get” kind of man, and we admired him for that. We will miss Gerald, but knowing he is free from pain, and his suffering is really all that matters now. My hearts break for you, his family, as Gerald’s suffering is over now, but your pain is grief will be with you for a long time yet. Marg, call us if you need anything at all. We will be there in a heart beat.. Thinking of you all now, sending love and hugs your way, xxxooo

We were saddened to hear of Gerald’s death. When we were renovating our home in Exeter he was so helpful and we remember that. Grief is a long and often lonely process, and we never forget our loved ones, but, in time, healing and comfort do come.
