Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday April 18, 2006, Allan Lyle “Al “. Beloved husband of Mary (Blackwell) Moody. Dear father of Natasha of Goderich. Loved son of Margaret Moody and the late W.O. Calvin Moody and son-in-law of Irene Blackwell and the late Stewart Blackwell. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Carol Barnaby and Percy, Dianne Moody, Christina Prater, Sgt. Ira Moody and Mary, Calvin Moody and Marlene, Shawn Moody, Cheryl Towle and Steve, Paul Hohner, Tim Wilcox, Ida Ann Marashi and Shahram and George Blackwell. Sadly missed by 16 nieces and nephews and 8 great-nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by one sister Marilyn Hohner.

Visitation in the Hensall Visitation Chapel, 79 King St., Hensall on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 21 at 2 p.m. Pastor Phil Kazek officiating. Cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society.

I recently found al’s name and address in our old address book. my husband enjoyed talking with al very much at the Stratford farmers market many years ago so much so he put his contact info in our book. he also wrote garlic spread em under his name.

my husband purchased a couple of containers of the garlic spread and loved it.

my sincere condolences to you in the loss of al.

my husband passed in January, 2011.
