We have only recently met Kay from our visits to the hospital to visit our Mom and in this short time we truly believe that anyone who knew Kay, loved her. To Kay’s family: My condolences to you at this sad time. I got to know Kay in the 1980s when I lived in Hensall and the mail for Kate Monk and Kay Mock got mixed up. We reconnected at Hensall United Church when I did supply preaching. Kay always had a smile and a friendly greeting. She will be missed.

I had the privilege of getting to know Kay during her stay at the Villa. She was such a kind and wonderful lady. She will be missed. Sympathies to her entire family at this time of loss.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Kay. As a little girl, I remember those times at the busy Mock household with my friend Mary. Kay always had a smile on her face….most notably her eyes shone with compassion whenever she spoke to you. We, the Curl family, are so sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. We go back a long way, and many of you may not remember our family. My mother was Kay’s aunt Lily. Lily Waines married a farmer from Zephyr, Ont. in March 1920. I remember as a kid, the Waines family coming to the farm on a Sunday , even during the war years. It was always a great day. That was when Uncle Ernie, Auntie Lil, Kay, Margaret and Ken all came and we had a great visit. Aunt Lil always brought us kids a bag of licorice allsorts. I really remember that. Later on I got to visit Kay and Ron in Stayner, and several years later in Exeter and Hensall. My last contact with Kay was a year and a half ago when my dear wife, Mary Carolyne passed away. She was so gracious. I hope that some of you may remember our family, I sure remember the Mocks.

I will always remember Kay’s giggles when she would watch something funny or her singing along and old musical on tv. It was priceless.
May she rest in peace.

I have so many treasured memories of my Aunt Kay… she was my connection to my own mother , her sister, how passed away 35 years ago , too early..
