MILNE: It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of James “Jim” Alexander Milne of Grand Bend, age 84, who left us peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, on Friday, August 20, 2021. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Anne (Sloan) Milne. Loved father and father-in-law of Rob and Sherry Milne of London, LeeAnne Milne and Daniel Arsenault of Montreal. Cherished Papa of Nicole Milne, Stacey Milne, Alexa Arsenault and Khloé Arsenault. Predeceased by his parents Alex Milne and Geneva (Donaldson) Milne. His family would like to thank all the doctors and wonderful nurses at University Hospital in London as well as the amazing staff at Jessica’s House for their compassion and comfort. A Celebration of Life will be held at Oakwood Resort, Grand Bend, on Sunday, September 12 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to Jessica’s House Residential Hospice in Exeter or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.

Our condolences go out to Elizabeth and Jim’s family. We will miss Jim and his mischeivious smile, but he has left us many memories of good times. The drop in visits with our dog Rufus were always good for a laugh or two and a biscuit for the dog.
We will always remember Jim.
