Marjorie and Mac were one of my favourite neighbours growing up in Whalen Corners. I could ride my bike for a visit and always loved the fresh smell of the baked bread and if we were lucky she would have Mango juice … oh and fudge at Halloween! We had many visits over the years, and I was always able to remember her birthday as it was just the day before mine. She was an amazing lady with a great laugh!

Ray, Bruce, Barry and families, Sorry to hear of Marj’s passing. Marj was always so delightful to visit with; interested in all of our lives and full of remembrances of times shared at gatherings many years ago or just a day before. Caught her service this morning by accident as we had been away and know she would have loved all the music. Remember so very much the music shared at Mac and Marj’s home on Whalen Line; Judy on the piano and her Dad playing the spoons and the rest of us singing away. She has left us with some very fond memories.

To Ray, Bruce, and Barry and all your families we extend our sympathy at the loss of your Mom and grandma. I always remember Auntie Marge as a sweet, kind lady who always took an interest in others (and always had a bag of candy tucked in her suitcase when she visited her nieces and nephews on our farm in Saskatchewan)! She has left a wonderful legacy! Thank you for live-streaming her funeral so we could all ‘there’ with you. A lovely tribute!
