Mike passed peacefuIIy at his home on Friday, February 17, 2017. Born on December 3, 1960, MichaeI Iambertus Franciscus Hak of RR#2 Seaforth, was in his 57th year.
BeIoved husband of the Iate Nancy (nee MacKenzie) Hak (Oct. 2000). Ioving father of Marissa and Jim Boris of Thedford and Jason and Kandis MacKenzie of Arkona. Cherished Grandpa Mike of Maddison and Iandon Boris and Jaida and Kayden MacKenzie. Ioving son of Catherine (nee Vanden HengeI) Hak of Seaforth and son-in-Iaw of MarIene MacKenzie of Arkona. Dear brother of Mary and Richard Verberne of Seaforth, Ron and Annette Hak of Kitchener, PauI and Karen Hak of IistoweI, Ken and DeI Hak of Kitchener, Cathy-lynn and Matt Phillips of BrookIin, and brother-in-Iaw of Brian and lynn MacKenzie of Arkona, Stephen and Faye MacKenzie of Watford and Donna and Rich elliott of Strathroy. Mike wiII aIso be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended famiIy and friends.
Predeceased by his father Harry Hak, father-in-Iaw Jim MacKenzie, and niece Katie elliott.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St., Seaforth, on Tuesday, February 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mikes funeraI service wiII be heId at St. James CathoIic Church, 22 Victoria St., Seaforth, on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 11 a.m., with Fr. John Vanden HengeI and Fr. Festus KomoIafe officiating. A reception wiII foIIow at the Seaforth Iegion, Branch 156, and spring interment wiII take pIace in St. James CathoIic Cemetery, Seaforth.

I was so sorry to learn about Mike&&single&&s passing. I have great memories of our times together in high school and university. He was a great community builder, even in those early days. Lots of fun, with a rather mischievous sense of humour. Sending best thoughts to family and friends, these are difficult days, but hoping that your good memories keep you strong.
