MELLOR: John William of Huron Park

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of John Mellor of Huron Park on February 13, 2022. Beloved husband of Jill Sanderson. Loving father of Lexxeigh Mellor. Cherished son of Richard Ludlow and the late Shirley Ludlow. Dear brother of Jennifer Ludlow, and Sherry Brown. Loving uncle of Kyle, Veronica and Richard. Son in-law of Joyce Sanderson and the late Jack Sanderson.

John loved spending time with his family and going for motorcycle rides with Jill. He was a proud member of Exeter Legion 167, a Sports Chairman, and an avid dart player. He loved helping Shirley Campbell prepare legion meals. John was an incredible thrifter and loved researching his next deal.

In keeping with John’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at R.E. Pooley Branch 167 (Exeter Legion), 316 William Street, Exeter on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Many thanks to Denise Batten for setting up a Go Fund Me to help with funeral costs. https://gofund.me/91af89e7
