On Thursday, September 18, 2025, Michelle passed away with family by her side at the age of 54.
Michelle was happily married for 23 years to her life partner and best friend, Mike Dauphin. Her dream of growing old with him cut way too short; until we meet again my love. She leaves behind her absolute pride and joy, her children; Dylan McNeil (Tess), Aliya Dauphin (Keegan), and Lana Dauphin (Joe). I will be with you always, and there was no greater honour than loving and raising you all.
Michelle is survived by her parents Don and Susan McNeil, sister Cindy McNeil, brother Dan McNeil (Jen), mother-in-law Heather Dauphin, sisters-in-law Holly Dauphin, Sarah Overholt (Andy), and Rebecca De Vos (Al), nieces and nephew Haley and Jasmyn McNeil, Erin and Sam Overholt, Hayden and Bryn De Vos. Predeceased by her father-in-law Gary Dauphin (2015).
A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held at the BMG Community Centre, 800 Sports Drive, BRUSSELS on Saturday, September 27th from 1 – 4 PM. Please dress casually. A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tanner Steffler Foundation or Victim Services Huron Perth in Michelle’s memory would be appreciated.

I was heartbroken to hear of Michelle’s passing. Though words fall short at a time like this, I hope you can feel the love and support of all who knew her.
I had the privilege of living with Michelle in College and she was truly the life of the party- full of laughter, warmth and light. Her energy was magnetic and she had a way of making everyone feel included. Some of my best memories from those years are wrapped up in her laughter, her kindness and unstoppable spirit.
