McNAUGHTON: John of Ilderton

With family by his side, at LHSC- University Hospital on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 of Ilderton in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Katherine (Caverhill) McNaughton for over 60 years. Dear father of Norman and Sandy McNaughton, Barry McNaughton (Vicky McNaughton), and Lynn and John Szentimrey. Proud grandfather of Steven McNaughton (Janan), Michael McNaughton, Bradley McNaughton (Emily); Kara McNaughton, Jenna McNaughton and great-grandfather of Cameron. Dear brother of Donelda Bodajla, and brother-in-law of Orene McNaughton. Predeceased by his parents Donald and May McNaughton and siblings Grace and Charles Harris, Irene and Jack Langford, Infant Donald McNaughton, Mary and Wilfred McKichan, Anne and Jim Allardyce, Ruth and Gordon McKeen, Nora and Scott McNair, Peter McNaughton, Jim and Helen McNaughton, and George Bodajla. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  John spent his whole life on the home farm in London Township.   He was very proud to be an active community member in the Ilderton area. 

Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Sunday, April 10th from 1:30-4 and 6-8 PM. Those attending are kindly asked to register. Please click “Register Now” below to register. A celebration of John’s life will be held at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, 263 Main Street, Lucan on Monday, April 11th at 11 AM. Please arrive by 10:40 AM. Masks are kindly preferred for both the visitation and service.  If unable to attend, the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your own home.
