Dear Heather, Debbie and Jimmy – I was saddened to learn of your Father’s passing. He will always be remembered as the best “story teller” ( and sometimes “semi-naughty” joke guy) in our family. Over 60 years ago, he gave me my first job as a “stock-boy” at the Woolworth store at Bloor & Young Streets in Toronto. I am sorry that I will be out of Canada on May 4th but be assured that, at 11:00 EST, I will stop, look up to the sky and remember the fun times with my Uncle jim!

Dear Heather, Debbie and Jim… your parents were very dear friends of our family. So many good times in Nassau . I will always remember Jim’s story’s and jokes. He was so good to my mother after my dad passed. I have very special memories of both your mom and dad. My sincere condolences . I’m sure they’re all enjoying a drink or two together.

Dear Heather, Debbie and Jimmy…my sincere apologies on the passing of your dad. Many of my best childhood memories of times with the McNaughton family and the hockey trips that ended up in Markham, we had such fun times. Mom and Dad spent many great times with your Mom and Dad and Scott and Nora. The Mellons were deeply saddened to hear of our close friend Jim passing. Jim was always such a great guy & our family have enjoyed his company along with his lovely wife Helen in days gone by.
Jim always had a joke to tell & kept us smiling.
He was a very kind & gentle soul & he will be sadly missed.

To Debbie,HeatherJimmy, this is the way that my friend Jim McNaughton was calling you when he was talking about you, he was so proud of his children’s, that’s no better father you could have then him, every time we were talking over the phone, I always told him that I am praying from the holly land and wishing him to live until 120 years and then we see after, he was always laughing about it, and today when Debbie told me about that his father passed away, I was so shocked that I couldn’t believe it, he was a friend, mentor and my confident close person in so many years.
We travelled so many places in the world together with your mom and have lot of fun all together, he will always be in live with me, I am sorry if my English not perfect, but this is my heart that speaks, I will never forget him for the rest of my life and will keep talking about him all over the world.
I was supposed to visit him from telaviv, but told me all the time that’s was not the right time because he was in the hospital, I am really so sorry that I didn’t do it before he’s gone now.
I want to tell you that I am really sad by the lost of your dad that’s was very close to me.

I wanted to express my condolences to you all on the passing of Jim. I had the pleasure of meeting Jim 4 years ago while working for ParaMed. He always greeted me with a big smile and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to meet and care for him for 3 years. I will always remember how fondly he spoke about his family, especially his children and would share with me all the milestones going on in your lives. He was a kind man who always made us feel welcome in his home. He also always wanted to make sure us nurses were looked after as we set out on our work day and made sure to send us on our way with a Ziploc bag of grapes, an orange and chocolate bar. Having Jim as a patient was a great honour and I am so happy that I was able to meet this wonderful man. The entire Mcnaughton family is in my thoughts and prayers.
