Condolence from Andrew and Barb Wister on May 27th, 2021 9:03 PM

We send our sincere condolences during these difficult times. Ross was a dear friend for over 50 years, and a very special person who has left an indelible mark on many people . He was the Master of Ceremonies at our wedding in 1987, a role for which he was very well-suited. When my wife Barb and I reminisce about the times that we laughed the hardest, Ross factors into the equation on numerous occasions. His sharp wit and clever orchestration of words never ceased to amaze us. We will miss him and share in your loss. —Andrew & Barb Wister

Condolence from Sylvia Bass West on May 27th, 2021 9:33 PM

I always appreciated Ross’ regular calls to dad after dad came to live with us, the good cheer and humour in the email correspondence we shared, and the interesting stories and reminiscences he’d tell. Bruce and Linda, we send our heartfelt condolences to you especially . I know that Ross loved Abby, J B , Matthew and Christopher a great deal, and was very proud of them. He shared the news and photos of Abby, Matthew and Christopher’s newborns – his ‘greats’ – with delight. Ross was a good guy – witty, smart, interesting, kind – and he will be missed.
