To Phyllis and your family
Losing a parent is always difficult even when they have lived an amazing 101 years. We pray you take comfort in your many memories of your mom.
We are thinking of the McKeen and Carmichael families as you cherish memories of Dorothy. I fondly remember Dorothy from Sundays at Bethel. She was always so gracious, quiet-spoken and interested. Mom and Dad (Margaret and Ed Elston) enjoyed working on various church committees and projects with Dorothy and spoke highly of her work ethic and thoughtful approach. She readily responded to whatever was needed. What a wonderful, gentle lady. May you continue to feel her guidance in your daily lives.
Jim, Phyllis, Rick, Gary and families

I am sorry for your loss. Growing up and working at Hearn’s Dairy, I remember many trips down to your place involving butter and eggs. Don was always gracious when I talked with him and there were a pair of Jim’s working with the butter. Good memories!
Jim, Shelley and families. Please accept my sincere condolences on Dorothy’s passing.

Maureen,
Thank you for introducing me to your grandmother. One of my favourite memories of Dorothy was when I joined you and her for dinner and discussed a book afterwards. That night, I found her perspective on faith particularly interesting.
I know you will miss her greatly.
Take care,
Maureen,
Dorothy was very fortunate to have such a devoted granddaughter.
May she rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing.
My condolences to the McKeen family, I always fond your mother to be a good listener, with very sound advice when needed, a trait she shared with her father.
My condolences to the family.
Jim, Phyllis, Rick and Gary. We are passing on our condolences to the entire family. Sincerely Rob and Jayne Waters.
