Suddenly, at home on Saturday, March 2, 2013 of Exeter at the age of 56. Loving fiancé of Karen Jones. Dear father of Phillip McKay, Kyle McKay and Sarah McKay. Dear brother of Hugh McKay of B.C., Bernie McKay, John Allan and Marlene McKay, Bill and Kim McKay, Patricia McKay, Rosemary MacRobbie and Donald and Donna McKay all of Oxford County; Darlene and Jim Sercombe of Exeter, Pat and Ted Zaharia and Stacey Niles and Andy all of Brampton and Ted Niles of Scarborough. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Michael, and Robert Leo McKay and brother-in-law Iain MacRobbie.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street West of Main) on Tuesday, March 5th from 12:00 noon – 1:00 PM, where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM with Pastor Harry Frielink officiating.
Spring interment St. Marys Cemetery, Woodstock.

We pray that God will hold you in His arms during this extremely sad and dificult time.
It is with deep regrets that we will not be able to attend the funeral since Fred has one of his long awaited doctor’s appointment in London at the pain clinic that very afternoon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Fred & Ann Zwaan

Karen, Danny’s and my thoughts and prayers are with you and all of the family at this time of sadness. I’m sure that it was a shock and that he will be greatly missed by all his loved ones. I do hope to be at the funeral home on Tuesday and Danny and I will see you then. Ruth and Danny Carter
I am so sorry to hear of John;s sudden passing. My thoughts are
with you Karen, Phillip, Kyle and Sarah.
I will be unable to attend the funeral as I am at my son;s home in
Florida .
John was one of my alter boys when his older brother Mike and I were married.
He will be missed by all the family
