Affectionately known to us as Bobby Jo, Eleanor Doreen McGlynn, passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor Long Term Care Home, on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the age of 94. Bobby Jo was a kind and caring woman. Her feisty spirit and lively character help create many lasting stories in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.
Bobby Jo will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Sylvia Bushie, sister Sandee McCann, nieces Catherine Sallows, Shelley and Linda, Kim Peacock, and good friends Gary and Marlene Johnston and Lawrence and Patti Joyce. Bobby Jo is predeceased by her mother Lucinda Edwards, siblings and siblings-in-law Frank, Mae and her husband Lloyd, Bill, Stella, nephew Brian, and those in the McGlynn Family.
Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth are entrusted with arrangements. Honouring Bobby Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family inurnment will take place at St. James Catholic Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to OSPCA would be appreciated by the family.
