I will never forget the time Audrey and the ladies from the Centralia United Church babysat Samantha & Chris and other children while us mothers could have our time together in the manse.
Audrey was a real down to earth lady and I know she will be remembered by a large number of people.

My mother Elizabeth and I have fond memories of your mom and dad at Beech Place in Lucan. She was a very kind lady and a wonderful neighbour, and will be missed. Take care.

We are so saddened to hear of Audrey’s passing…it was such a privilege to have known her and how much she loved our boys. I’ll miss our quick chats, usually sharing one of Dave’s homemade cookies, her passionate talk of the new things she had on the go, or just listening to her wise guidance. What I seen in Audrey over the years is her deep sense of faith and her strength to always think positive. What I will treasure the most is my last visit with her in the hospital…we shared, got teary and hugged a lot…and I left there feeling stronger and at peace again. An angel on earth has left us…my heart aches, but we know she is in a beautiful, beautiful place of unconditional love forever. (Arlene)

I had the great privilege of working with Audrey at The Bank of Montreal many, many years ago. She was so much fun … dancing around whenever “Mony Mony” came on the radio, imparting her wisdom and kindness to everyone, encouraging others to grab hold of life with both hands,and not to take things too seriously.
She was a very precious addition to my life when I was going through difficult times. She shared some of her own struggles, and how she dealt with them, and believed in me enough to know I would survive. I, too, remember Audrey at the Bank of Montreal,in spite of her crippling arthritis, dancing with great abandon (to the strains of Mony, Mony!) in her Birkenstocks, which she owned in almost all the colours of the rainbow! There was a lady ..an unforgettable lady !
