Passed away suddenly at LHSC – University Hospital on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the age of 70. Beloved son of Mabel (Tweddle) and the late George A. McEwen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Marion and Bill Lumsden, Sheryl McEwen, Arlene McEwen. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the staff at Craigwiel Gardens, Strathroy Hospital and LHSC- University Hospital for the exceptional care they provided to Ross, along with Dr. Viguera.
A public celebration of Ross’ life will be held at the Haskett Funeral Homes, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Monday, June 26th at 2pm. Cremation with interment at Mars Hill Cemetery to follow.

I have many fond memories of Ross ,while visiting Donna at Craigweil over the years. He was such a sweet and caring friend to Donna , myself Donna’s sister Gale. Mabel and the family are in our hearts at this sad time.
So sorry to hear of Ross’s passing. He was such an honest and loving gentle soul. He will be missed.
Mabel, Sheryl and Arlene – Our sincere condolences to each of you at this sad time – the memories you have are precious -may they be a comfort to you in the coming days as you reflect on them.
My Sincere Sympathy to Ross’s family. We always enjoyed our visits with him when he bowled at Lucan Bowling lanes. He was always happy to come bowling and was so proud of his bowling scores.
