It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Judy McConnell who passed away peacefully at the age of 82. Known for her spicy personality, she was never afraid to speak her mind and remained true to herself right to the end. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Ken McConnell. Loving mother of Ted and Becky McConnell, and Kim McConnell and Jason Rayner. Proud grandma of Emma (Chris) Petrie, Dylan (Elyse) McConnell, Mitchell (Keira) McConnell, Grace (Owen) Hutchings, and Taya Rayner. Great-grandma of Harlynn, Henry, Ava, Levi, Walter, Mabel, and Elora. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will always remember her in their own unique way and carry forward many memories. She was cared for by her sister, Lynda (Barry) Ketchabaw, whose support and dedication were greatly appreciated.
The family would like to thank those who cared for her in her final days and family, neighbours and friends who visited her in the years since Ken’s passing.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Wednesday, June 17th from 5 – 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
