Posted By Haskett Funeral Homes On April 3, 2025 @ 3:55 PM In Obituary,Seaforth | 50 Comments

Passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the age of 64. Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Clyde. She will be missed by her siblings: Ron, Nancy (Pierre), Joanne (Bob) and Shirley; her extended family as well as many nieces and nephews. Cathy is predeceased by her parents Jim and Gladys Cornish, brother Brian and his wife Linda, and her sister-in-law Pat; as well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law Harvey and Bessie McClure and brothers-in-law Stan, and Neil.
Cathy had a fondness for wing nights at The Boot with friends, as well as afternoon cards and a delicious meal shared with friends, Judy and Warren Beuerman. Holidays and long weekends were enjoyed with her sister Nancy (Pierre) in Bowmanville. Cathy enjoyed opportunities to travel and will be especially missed by her fur baby Sassie.
Cathy was extremely grateful for the friendship she formed with Beata Petersen in Mequon, WI. A shared personal journey was the foundation of a special relationship and the ‘happy boxes’ brought much cheer to her day.
Cathy’s graveside service will be held at Maitlandbank Cemetery at a later date. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
