The family announces with great sadness that at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 Maxine (Turner) Parkinson of Kingsway Lodge, St. Marys and formerly of London in her 83rd year passed away.  Beloved wife of the late William G. (Gib) Parkinson (1992). Dear mother of Norma and Stan Hodgins of Arva, Brian and Gerri Parkinson and Wayne and Carla Parkinson all of London, Walter and Ruth Ann Parkinson of Lucan, Edward and Heather Parkinson of St. Marys, Jane Parkinson and Phil Hassen of Edmonton, Peter and Deb Parkinson of Woodstock, Gil Parkinson and Tracy Arnott of London, Susan and Lewis Browning of Mt. Brydges and Gloria Pickering of London.  Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Olive Roberts, Shirley Hudson and Joyce Armitage.  Predeceased by brothers Grant and Bruce Turner and sisters Una McLeod and Edna Shoebottom.  Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 11 a.m. with Val Hodgins of Wellington Street United Church, London officiating.   Interment St. John’s Cemetery, Arva.  Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
