At LHSC – University Hospital on Friday, September 28th of London and formerly of Lucan in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Mason (1983). Dear mother of Roger and Cathy Mason of London, Carole and Mark Presley of Huntington Beach, California, and Karen and Mark Davenport of Thunder Bay. Dear Grandmother of Richard, Brent, Christa, and Kurt; Talitha, Josh, and Paul; Alexandra, Jacob, and Simeon and great-grandmother of Ben, James, Jett, Jaci, Davah, Cassidy and Soren. Predeceased by her bothers Cecil and Everett Robinson.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan, on Wednesday, October 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be held on Thursday, October 11 at Living Hope Church, 120 Main Street, Lucan at 11 AM with Pastor Brad Sumner and Pastor Mark Presley officiating.
Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye. Donations to Living Hope Church, Lucan would be appreciated by the family.

Sorry to hear the news. Long time since heard of your mom. Our parents sure had some good memories. I even remember delivering Avon to your mom.
Please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of your dear Mom…she will always hold a special place in my heart…she was like a second Mom to me growing up…I loved coming home from school to see what special dessert or dinner Shirley had cooked up for us….we were very fortunate to have Shirley take care of the Hearn family…I have to be honest there were days I faked sick so I could stay home from school and hang out with her…she always had a sparkle in her eye and a warm smile and a big heart! It was a treat when I would get invited to stay for dinner at the Mason home…always enjoyed play dates with Karen growing up…Shirley may you Rest In Peace…thank you Roger, Carol and Karen for sharing your wonderful Mom with us through the years!

Roger, Carole, and Karen I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. But it’s a real joy to know it’s not “Good Bye Mom” but rather “GOOD NIGHT MOM”. Because there is soon coming the eternal dawning of a NEW day that will last forever in the place where there will no more suffering ,sorrow death or separation.. and THAT DAY WILL SOON BE HERE. I pray that God will give you comfort and at the same time the joy of THAT BLESSED HOPE. I long for the day of that reunion.. God Be With You ,comfort ,and strengthen You and Yours.
My Condolences to the Mason Family, I did Shirley’s hair in Lucan for years, I have missed her company over the years, So Sorry to hear of her passing she was a Great lady .

Comfort and peace be with all. Shirley was the best VBS kitchen partner ever at church and Shirley also made the best Mississippi Mud Pie ever. Shirley’s journey may end here but her new forever journey is beginning with GOD! I am so happy for her. She will b missed! Our condolences to all.
It was a great honor and privilege to serve as Pastor to this great lady for a few years. Shirley had a quiet and gentle manner but she was a great blessing to many people. She was a gentle soul who made a huge impact on the world she lived in by the way she served the Lord and his people. She will be missed. Becky and I send our condolences to Roger, Carol and Karen and their families. Our prayers are with you.

Shirley Mason was a wonderful lady and always so thoughtful and giving.
I have fond memories of her during my time in Lucan, Ontario and how she made me and members of the Boy”s Brigade feel so welcome in her home.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may God wrap you in his strength and love.
And by faith we know that will see her again.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother . Remember her as a loving person which is reflected through all of you.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom, although it has been so long since we have seen each other the warmth, love and fondness within my heart for you has not changed. I am so sorry. I cannot imagine the pain. I have observed how your mom has remained in loving proximity. As you would know, this is only a bye for now. Although I am in London UK, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I pray that each of you and your families fully experience the comfort and peace the Holy Spirit God be with each of you.
So sorry to hear of your loss. I know what emotions you are feeling, as I still remember when my mother died and it brings back those emotions. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Roger, Carole and Karen and families -Deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mother. Shirley was a big part of the Hearn family – she took care of so many things when Mom was teaching. She was the BEST cook, and always had a big smile on her face. A very special lady who will be missed by many. I love all your pictures, it shows how important family was to her. Hugs to all of you!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Shirley. She helped out at our house when I was growing up and she was considered part of our family. I’m glad that I had a chance to visit her at the nursing home. I really enjoyed looking at all your pictures showing all your great memories of Shirley. You have my condolences and best wishes to everyone.
