I am so sorry to hear about Gary’s passing. I worked as a landscaper with Gary for the better part of ten years. Gary was a hard worker and always available to lend a helping hand. He worked circles around the younger guys – myself included. I have fond memories of hitching a ride to and from work with Gary in his cool 1970s green van for years and the snacks that Cathy would always offer me when i showed up on their doorstep.

I extend my condolences to Gary’s wife and children and to the Marshall Family. We grew up on the 16th Concession together, and attended the old one room school…SS 3&10. I think Gary attended a few of the Reunions that Doug Hughes organized several years ago. May all your happy memories together eventually replace the sadness you are feeling at his passing. May he Rest in Peace.

Over 50 yrs. and many miles I echo the thoughts of so many. Gary was FIRST a family man, and also, a helpful and good friend to both Roy and myself. He leaves us with great memories. My thoughts are with Cathy and the girls. Joan
