On her birthday, at University HospitaI Iondon, Marjorie ellzabeth Rock, passed away peacefuIIy, surrounded by her famiIy, on March 27, 2018. In her 79 years among us, Marjorie Iived Iife with a determined spirit, a Iove for famiIy, and an enthusiastic passion for a Iucky game of bingo. Marjorie wiII be IovingIy remembered by her daughter Janette (Jack) HoImes. Cherishing memories of a much Ioved grandma are AshIey (Brad) Park, Cody HoImes (Stephanie McDougaII), Brett (Mary) HoImes, MicheaIa HoImes (Eric Ieeuwen), SkyIer HoImes (Jason Morgan), DaIton HoImes (Abby Watson) and KyIe Brown, aIong with great grandchiIdren KhIoe, Sadie and Bethany HoImes and Marjs beIoved dog WoIf.
Warm memories of Marjorie remain with sibIings and sibIings-in-Iaw Edythe (EIvey) Rock and John (Theresa) Rinn. In faith, we trust that Marjories spirit is reunited in eternaI Iife with her husband Keith (2010) and her parents Hugh and CIara (ne Stoneman) Rinn.
Honouring Marjories wishes cremation has taken pIace. A time to honour and ceIebrate Marjories Iife wiII take pIace on Saturday, ApriI 7 from 1-6 p.m. at Branch 156, Seaforth Iegion, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth, with Words of Remembrance shared at 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Mocha Shriners or the charity of ones choice wouId be appreciated by the famiIy. When. I think of the days back in McKillop, Marjorie and &&single&&Sam&&single&& are definitely part of those memories.growing up on the farm. They visited mom often.
