Thinking of you all at this sad time. Marie was a wonderful, kind and generous woman. I feel lucky that I came to know her better when we shared a hospital room many years ago. She was an awesome support to me, a great listener and a caring heart. I think she kept as close an eye on me as the nurses and doctors! Marie loved to talk about you, her family. She was so proud of you all. Keep the good memories close and draw strength from one another. She will live on in all of you.

We loved Grandma Johnston and Jennifer, Ian and Christine loved having an extra Grandma. When we moved to Arizona, Marie would send us the most beautiful and keepsake Christmas Cards (which we&&single&&ve kept) and then when she wasn&&single&&t able to mail out Christmas Cards should would surprise us with a telephone call, wishing us all a Merry Christmas and wanted to let us know that she was thinking of us!!

My deepest sympathies to all. I remember Marie from Pine Lake, when I was a child. It&&single&&s a wonder I&&single&&m still living today after I apparently asked Marie why she had a space in between her teeth – I thought gramma Lowe was going to kill me right there on the spot, while Marie laughed aloud and stated, “he&&single&&s got to ask to find out.” Just remember the good times folks – that will always help pull you through!

dear Marie&&single&&s family Having shared abed in your mothers room in Seaforth Manorlast yearI really enjoyed our daily visits, her unending kindness she showed me. We knew alot of the same people I also remember your parents comming to Cranbrook to the dancesmany years ago. i was trying to return to the Maner for another short time,but The Maner wouldn&&single&&t let me use my electric wheelchair insidethanks to tom and wayne. Now who are the Daltons going to make fun of when your mom&&single&&sphone would ring it sure made them busy bodys about who was calling of course they were outside on the patio to hear it ring i was really looking forward to seeing her again. Sharon, Bruce and families, at times like these, words are so inadequate to express our deepest sympathies, but our thoughts are, and have been with you, during this time.

Thoughts, prayers, hugs and kisses come from us to all of you with the passing of Aunt Marie. She was a wonderful lady who always welcomed us into her home to chat and she was always interested in finding out how our family was doing. At Christmas time we would always send her a card with a school photo of each of our kids. One year the school photos were late and didn&&single&&t make it into the Christmas card. It wasn&&single&&t long after Aunt Marie would have received her card that she called to ask if we&&single&&d forgotten to send the photos! Needless to say, we sent them to her as soon as they were ready. Even when we stopped in to chat with her on Friday, July 29th she was interested in how everyone was doing. We will miss her as you will. May your memories of Aunt Marie bring peace and smiles to your face just as they do for ours. Love to you all.

I still remember all the times spent with her and your dad, Harry, at Pine Lake or at the farm, or when Marie moved in to the house in Seaforth.
