Margaret passed away peacefuIIy surrounded by her Ioving famiIy at Huron ResidentiaI Hospice on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Born in Stratford on December 28, 1945, Margaret Doris (ne Bender) Ianders of Seaforth, was in her 74th year.
BeIoved wife of Gary Ianders for 54 years. Ioving mother of Sonya Biehn (David) of elliott Iake, Stephanie Fenn (Tom) of Aillston, Sarah MichieIsen (Arthur) of Trenton and Stasia Ianders (David Sharpe) of Seaforth. Cherished Grandma of Balley, Justin, IiIy, Jasmine, KaIe and ellie. Dear sister of IyIe Bender (Yvonne), and sister-in-Iaw of John RumbIe, and Joyce King. Margaret wiII aIso be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by parents Howard and Doris Bender, parents-in-Iaw Gar and IiIy Ianders, her brother David Bender, sister-in-Iaw Norma RumbIe and brother-in-Iaw GIenn King.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 7-9 p.m., and wiII continue at HeartIand Community Church, 52 Victoria St., CIinton, on Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. untiI 10:30 a.m. A funeraI service to ceIebrate Margarets Iife wiII foIIow at 11 a.m. A reception wiII be heId in the church haII and private interment wiII take pIace at a Iater date in Bond Head Cemetery, NewcastIe.

Margaret was a terrific mom to four awesome women. She taught them to be strong confident women. She was a talented woman. I have many family gathering memories of her musical talents. Margaret you will truly be missed.
One of my earliest memories that I can recall is of my Cousin Sonya and myself singing “His Banner Over Me Is Love” at the church in Oshawa where Uncle Gary & Aunt Marg were ~ Aunt Marg was playing the piano for us…wonderful memory in my life..Will miss you HUGE Auntie Marg (((loving hugs sent to heaven))) xoxo
I remember Marg&&single&&s beautiful welcoming smile! She had a very loving heart. She was very sweet and it is easy to see that her love and kindness has been pass down to her daughters, and grandchildren. So sorry for your loss, sending hugs, and prayers .
My best memory of Margaret was when Cindy and I visited you near Sudbury many years ago. We went to the church and played hymn after hymn on the piano and organ together. Looking forward to heavenly duets in eternity!

I didn’t get to meet either of you in person but I was told about you from your proud daughter Sonya. Even though you all walk this valley road, KNOW that Jesus walks with you. Watch for HIM. Allow yourselves to take the time to be pastored by those around you. Even a pastor needs a pastor. Even a pastors family needs a pastor. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Margaret, I have had the pleasure of knowing her daughter Stephanie for quite some time. The strong will and family values that Stephanie posses must have come from someone and I can only assume that it was from her mother.

I did not have the privilege of meeting Margaret. But in knowing Sonya and the amazingly strong woman she is, I feel I have seen Margaret. The service yesterday was a beautiful celebration of an amazing woman and family. I pray that your memories, the love you share and the presence of each other will comfort you in the times to come. Grief comes in waves, sometimes gently at the shore and sometimes in tidal waves. Hold on tightly to your memories and each other and ride whatever the wave brings, knowing she is with you.
We were blessed to have Margaret and Gary minister to us for about three years at Cornerstone Community Church in Almonte. Together they were quite a team with Margaret &&single&&s musical abilities and lots of behind-the-scenes work forming an integral part of their joint ministry. She will be missed by the extended Priddle family.
Our condolences to the extended Landers family. We love you all. Special love and blessings to Pastor Gary.
