Condolence from Brad Chandler on January 18th, 2011 4:00 PM

I am very sorry to hear of Mack&&single&&s passing. I was lucky enough to have worked with Mack for 5 years at Thompsons in Hensall. He was always a gentleman and we connected on talking about fishing and hunting. He spoke very highly of his family and his “cabin” in the bush. I have been gone from Hensall for 5 years but his memory brings a smile to my face which is a true tribute to the kind of person he was. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Condolence from Liz Campbell on January 18th, 2011 6:00 PM

Dear Carol and family,
I am so very sad and sorry for your loss of a wonderful man. I just can&&single&&t believe it. All those years that we worked together, I got quite a kick out of Mack, his humour, his knowledge, and is old facts of weather and such always made me smile. When he retired from work he was one happy fellow and I knew most of his time would be spent in the bush, I did tell him I would be back sometime to check it out and I never made it. Good lesson –“do not put off till tomorrow what you can do today”. May all your good memories keep him alive in your hearts. My deepest sympathy.

Carol & Family,
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Mack was a man of few words, but loved life, his family and the great outdoors. I liked to think of Mack as our “Resident
Walking Almanac”. He was a wealth of information and we always looked forward to his facts on the changing seasons. With fondest memories and utmost respect. May you find comfort with the support of family and friends. We were blessed to know Mack for so many years.

Susan & Fred Elder.

Our deepest sympathy Carol and family – I just heard about Mack&&single&&s passing. It has been 25 years since I left Hensall but I have many fun memories of the Thompson days and Mack certainly was a part of those memories.
Mack sure did enjoy life so I am quite sure he is at peace and enjoying his new hunting grounds.
