MACGREGOR: Grant William of Hensall
Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, Grant McGregor, of Hensall, passed away in his 77th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Gladys (Baker) McGregor. Dear father of Christine Bruxer, Robert and Elizabeth McGregor and David and Gerry McGregor. Cherished grandpa of Jacob and Jenny Bruxer, Lucas Bruxer and Ani, Nicholas Bruxer and Chelsea, Ashley Bruxer, Daniel Bruxer, Amanda McGregor and Grant McGregor. Special great-grandpa of his pride and joy Henry Robert Bruxer. Loved and missed by Ken and Bonnie, Billy Mclver and Bob and Nancy Campbell and family. Also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Greta Baker, Bill and Marg Baker, Janice Baker, Betty Grenier, Irene Tyndall, Bill Brown, Dorothy Baker, Wanda Wilson, Betty Eghoetz and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bob and Marion “Babe” (Chapman) McGregor, 1 sister Ila Mae and 2 brothers Jim and Raye, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Murray Baker, John Baker, Alphonse Grenier, Bruce Tyndall, Clara Brown, Meade Baker, Adam Wilson, Bob and Lillian Baker, Bruce and Bridget Baker, Austin Baker and Glenn and Arnetta Baker.
Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Hensall Visitation Chapel of the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 79 King St. Hensall. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday March 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew’s United Church Kippen with visiting 1 hour prior to service time. Rev. Pirie Mitchell officiating. Cremation with interment Hensall Union Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to South Huron Hospital, Kidney Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis or a charity of one’s choice.
