LOVIE: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at London Health Sciences Centre – University Hospital, London, on Saturday, September 2, 2023, Gregory “Greg” David Lovie, of Dashwood, age 50. Loved father of Jesse Vanderkant of B.C., Alyssa Lovie of Sarnia, Leighann Boyd of Watford, Brody Lovie of Goderich. Grandpa of Bentley, Sterling, Addy, Zara, Deklyn, Ryker, Gunner and Greyson. Greg will be missed by his canine companion Millie. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Kim Lovie and companion Delroy Christopher, Adam Lovie, Jason Lovie all of Dashwood, Elizabeth Lovie and companion Darrell Hiusser of Zurich, Jeffrey Lovie of Arkona, Nicole Lovie and companion Devan Bachan of Dashwood. Remembered by his nieces and nephews, Courtney, Tanner, Jackson, Caden, Faith and Gerald, River, Storm, Haven, Xavier. Loved nephew of Paul Lovie of Exeter, Laurie and Ted Stanlake of Grand Bend, Diane Lovie of Centralia, Mary and Drake Maher, Suzanne and Michael Schley, Conrad and Andrea Schwartz, Joseph and Sharon Schwartz, Michael and Cathy Schwartz and remembered by his many cousins. Predeceased by his parents David George and Sally Anne Marie (Schwartz) Lovie aunts and uncles Gary Lovie, Edward Lovie, Bill Lovie, Anne Marie Schwartz, Therese Schwartz, Kathleen and Ronald Ciccarelli and Gerard Schwartz. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with Visitation on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment with his parents at Calvary Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Sending love and prayers to all the Lovie families at this time, I have many fond childhood memories from our families spending time together, and in our teenage years, us kids spending time together, Greg will be missed!!
