We were saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a wonderful lady inside and out. We were lucky to have her as our neighbour for 10+ years and enjoyed our many chats and walks. Helen loved, and was very proud of her family as many of our chats centred around them and what was happening in their lives. Know she has been missed the past couple of years while she went to the home but she was never forgotten. RIP Helen.
Sending love and condolences to Nancy, Bill and Roger and your families. Your mom held a very special place in the hearts of our family, and as the last of our aunts it is sad to see the end of her era.
Sorry to hear of your loss

Nancy, Bill and Roger,
Your mother and I became friends at the Vanastra Pool. We had such a wonderful group of women there who would go to aquatic exercises then over to Kate’s for coffee. After I moved to Stratford, Helen and I kept up by phone. I feel like I know you and your families through all of the chats she and I shared. Please know that all of you and your children were absolutely the sunshine in her life. She was so proud of all of you and your accomplishments. She loved relating your activities and she appreciated all that you did for her.
I must confess that I suddenly lost track of Helen, probably with her last move. I do hope her final years were kind to her and all of you. Now, may she rest in peace. I hope you will all find peace and solace as you remember your lovely Mom.
My sincere sympathies to you all,
Laura Barber
