It is with much regret and deep sorrow that the family of Allan Lewis announce his passing on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Gladys (Carter) for 55 years. Cherished father of Janet and Peter Dearing of Exeter and Julie Lewis and Wendy Lewis both of London. Proud grandpa of William and Wesley Dearing. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Helen Thompson, Donald and Edith Lewis, Norman and Linda Lewis, Marie Broom, Robert and Bernice Martin, Wayne and Jo-Ann Rowe, and Ron and Merna Scott. Missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Jessie (Morley) Lewis, brothers-in-law Gerald Thompson and Ken Broom, nephew Jerry Thompson, and nieces Karen Broom and Lindsay Scott. Throughout his life, farming was his passion. He raised cattle for many years and worked the land. He was proud of his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending many wonderful hours in their company. Allan had a great love for his animal companions Tuner and Sully. Allan was a member of the Exeter McDonalds coffee crowd. He died doing what he loved, performing chores on the farm.

Dear Gladys and all of Allan’s Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss. Edward and Allan sometimes went to cattle sales in Toronto with Roy Cunningham many years ago. He remembers him fondly.
The last time I remember speaking with Allan was at a meal at the United Church in Ailsa Craig. I think it was one of their famous Roast Beef dinners but am not sure.
I remember Gladys from going to North Midd too many years ago to mention.
Treasure your many memories and hold them close to your heart where will always remain and remember that LOVE never dies. RIP Allan. Well done, my good and faithful servant.
