At South Huron Hospital, Exeter surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 19, 2009 Leona Gertrude (Dobson) Jaques of Exeter in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Clifton (Clif) Jaques (2006). Dear mother of Yvonne and John Elliott of Thorndale and Dalton and Sandy Jaques of South Huron. Proud grandmother of Leanne and Andrew and Charlsey and Kelsey. Dear sister of Gwen and the late Bill Waghorn of Kirkton. Predeceased by sister-in-law Verna and her husband Sam Bower and brothers-in-law Oliver Jaques and his wife Wilhelmine and Ross Jaques and his wife Helen. Leona will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at 1:30 PM with Pastor Peter Gummow officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to Zion West United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
