LECKIE: Laura Anne of Grand Bend

Peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Thursday, May 19, 2022 Laura passed away at the age of 66 with her loving companion Dean Williams by her side.  

Cremation has taken place.  Haskett Funeral Home, EXETER entrusted with arrangements. 

A celebration of Life will be held at Nancy Robertson’s home at 236 Webster’s Lane Mississauga, ON. on Sunday May 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. 

Please come with your memories of Laura. Her partner Dean and sister Linda will be attending.

All my sympathy Dean, Laura’s sister Linda and all who cared for her including her former colleagues at Holt Renfrew.
Thinking of her beloved cats.
Laura was a close friend of my sister Nancy (Gilberg).
Laura was a fellow student at Port Credit Secondary in Mississauga where she was a cheerleader. She later made her career at Holt Renfrew in Toronto.
I remember her especially as an active member of the St.Andrew’s youth group.

Laura was my best girlfriend when I first got to Grand Bend. She was so kind to me. She and Dean lent me the car when I didn’t have one, and she lent me money and whatever I needed. She brought food to another friend and she enjoyed going out for a drink. I will never forget her.
