I am so sorry to hear of Zak’s passing . He always had such a wonderful smile and was a happy guy . He had the best laugh and loved when we would spin him in his chair or play music for him. I remember the kids in our class fighting over who got to push him around at recess because we all wanted to help out and spend more time with him. He will be missed . “Zak, The Man”, I would call him, each time, upon arrival. I would, then, place my hand on his shoulder, and say jokingly, “There’s no need to fear, Dave is here.”, and he would look over, without seeing, but yet would see, and know, I was there, and I would talk to him, throughout the evening, about nothing really.
Zak, was one of the bravest, and toughest Men, I have had the pleasure of being with.
