At St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 Laura (French) Hern of RR 1 Woodham in her 56th year.  Beloved wife of Wayne Hern. Dear mother of Darryl of Woodham, Kathryn and Greg Langendyk of Lucan and Marilou at home.  Dear grandmother of Dylan.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jane and Garry Parkinson of St. Marys, Earl and Barbara French of Whalen Corners, Joe and Marlene French of Granton and Muriel, Tom, Alma, Ron, Lorne, Sheila and Alan.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents William French and Mary (French) Ruston and stepfather Ray Ruston.  Daughter-in-law of the late Olga and Thomas G. Hern.  Laura taught math at South Huron District High School for over 30 years and also enjoyed watching, playing and coaching baseball.  She was also very involved in the UCW at Zion West Church.  Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 5th at 1:30 PM with Rev. Ray Hagerman officiating.  Interment Zion West Cemetery.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Zion West United Church or the Laura Hern Math Award at South Huron District High School.
