My condolences as you face the loss of one so dear. I remember his visits to our church (and our house) in Montreal. He was a wonderful pastor to us whenever he visited!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to each and every family member. We have many very fond memories of the visits in Montreal from when Pastor Art would stay with us. The children would often sit on his lap or next to him for a bedtime story and a quick hug. Many a good discussion and time of prayer.

Sincere sympathy from Harv & Evelyn. Praying God grants peace and comfort as you journey through this difficult time. Art lived his life well in service to God.
As neighbours one block away we always remembered Rev. Art as a quiet, compassionate, concerned minister but he could also get quite animated about some touchy subjects.
We send our condolences to the family and to close members of the church.

Art was always supportive to me as a young woman single pastor and later as I tried to follow in his footsteps as Area Minister. He gave me wise counsel that I still hold dear to my heart. He will be deadly missed. My deepest sympathy . Cecile

Pastor Roger and Deanna Bitner
Our condolences to Evelyn and family in the passing of Art.
I, Roger, have known Art for 58 years. He was a great support to me in my ministry. He always had a word of encouragement for me. He was a great blessing to the work of the church in Eastern Canada through the many roles that he filled. He had such compassion for everyone he met and would go out of his way to be of assistance. A servant heart is what characterized him. He will always be remembered by those who knew him as a loving, caring pastor/shepherd. He and Evelyn were a great ministry team. It was our privilege to have known them over the years.
