Oh, I am very sorry to read of Anne’s death. I saw her infrequently in the library and enjoyed chatting with her very much. We’d had a visit a month or so ago and caught up on some family news and her concerns regarding her animals.

When Anne was a teenager she would ride her beautiful palomino out by my parents place in Roxborough and she would stop and let me pet her horse and chat. Later in life she asked me to babysit the kids. After our car accident she told me that she had prayed for me, and now I pray for Lyle and her family as they go through the days ahead. So hard to say goodbye to those we love!

Anne was a long time friend going back to growing up in the same neighbourhood on Goderich St. and our love for horses, and dogs, and all animals. I remember Anne as feisty yet friendly, small in stature yet big in heart. I am truly sorry that I will not meet her on the street again nor greet her at one of our luncheons. I will remember her with fondness.
