KLING-FURRY: Anne of Seaforth

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Lyle Furry for 38 years. Cherished mother of Gerry and Cheryl McLaughlin and Lynn and Tim MacMillan. Adored grandmother of Mike and Bianca, Brad, Josh and great-grandmother of McKenzie, and Charlotte. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Marilyn and Glenn Chesney and Peter and Francis Kling. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and the extended Furry family. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Anna (Edmonds) Kling and niece Barbie Chesney.

Anne devoted nearly 30 years of her life to working for Murphy Bus Line, where she was known for her dedication and reliability. She had a deep passion for saving animals—especially cats—and her love for them was matched only by her love for her grandchildren. Anne enjoyed walking, hiking, and spending time outdoors, finding peace in nature. She lived in Seaforth for most of her life, a place that always felt like home, and she will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and the love she shared so freely with both people and animals.

Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Humane Society of KW & Stratford Perth in Anne’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
