We’re so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing.
She was a wonderful Lady, so strong, tenacious and caring. Her support and influence was very influential for my parents in the early years of their marriage, so much so they all developed a lifelong friendship.
For us as the kids Shirley was always curious about what we were up to and had wise warm words of support we always looked forward to.
My condolences to the large and wonderful family she leaves behind. I’m sure will all miss her dearly and I’m sorry for your loss.

Gerald, Elsie, Doreen, Rick, Bob, Judy, Mary, Dave and families: I was so disappointed that I could not attend the visitation last night with Mom and Dad. I was able to see the service today and it was so lovely and fitting for Shirley. She was one of a kind and we share in your grief. The friendship shared with our families over the years are a testament to how friends can be as close as family. Shirley had the gift for making every person feel special and connected even when time had passed. I have so many vivid memories of the great times at the Main street house and experiencing the highlights of many of the memories the grandchildren shared today. Shirley had a huge heart and I will always remember that twinkle in her eye as she smiled. It was such an honor to be a part of her life all these years. Love to you all and know we are sending you strength as you send her off. Love Tracy and Darrin Aylward and family.
