KIMBALL: Glenn Charles of London Township

Glenn Kimball of London Township, passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter, with family by his side, on September 5, 2019, at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Fitzgerald) Kimball (1952). Cherished uncle of Sharon and Clint Sceli, loved great-uncle of Dan and Rita Sceli, Lisa and Brian Topp, and Tanya and Brian Gregory, and adored great great-uncle of Max, and Emma; Connor, Natalie, and Curtis; Jake, and Holly. Cherished uncle of Ken and Bonnie Parkinson, great-uncle of Kim Pickard, Roy and Tracy Parkinson, and Laura Gerber, great great-uncle of Alex and Nick and their son Jayce, Cameron, and McKenna; Ty, and Jake; Calem, Keegan, and Hailey. Predeceased by his parents Lena and Charles Kimball, sisters Marjorie and Herman Raper, and Dorothy and Roy Parkinson.

Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Monday, September 9th from 12:30 – 1:30 PM, where the funeral service will be held at 2 PM. Interment Medway Cemetery.

Donations to Jessica’s House, or Medway Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Leger, Paula Day, and the staff at Ilderton Medical Centre, staff and friends at Prince George Retirement Residence, South Huron Hospital Emergency Room staff, the caring and professional staff and volunteers at Jessica’s House, Pastor Jacob Shaw, and the staff at Haskett Funeral Home.

I remember your uncle Glen from my childhood yrs playing at the Sceli home. I know he was deeply loved by all of you! Hold all of those wonderful memories close to you. May he rest in peace. Thinking of all of you at this time. You have another angel watching over you!

Dear Parkinson family. Sorry to hear of Glen’s passing. It brings back many memories of when I lived at home on the farm. I always knew that whatever time of night I was coming home Glen would still be up and ready to have a chat. I haven’t talked to him for several years,but thought about him often.
