KILMER: Teresa Vivian (McDonald) Kilmer, 75, peacefully passed in her home in Crediton, on Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born on October 6, 1949, to Mary and Tomas (Pomeroy) McDonald in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Vivian was a kind and giving woman. She was always positive, lighting up any room she walked into. She cherished every moment spent with people she loved and cared about. In the last many years, Vivian endured many health issues including COPD and fought this to the very end of her life. She is survived by her loving husband Leonard Kilmer, her daughter and son-in-law Julie Roche and Richard Dart of London, her son and daughter-in-law Jeffery Noftall and Tammy Druce of Winsdor and her beautiful granddaughters Tayler and Riley Roche. She will be missed by her stepsons and daughters, Jonathan and Caralee Kilmer and their children, Paisley and Dallas of Strathroy, Tammy Kilmer of New Brunswick, and Tony Kilmer of Alberta and her many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be cherished by her sister and brother-in-law, Bernadette and Mike Walsh of Newfoundland and her sister and brother-in-law(s), Shirley and Al Burgess of Owen Sound, Bob and Linda Kilmer of Alberta and Gary and Pat Kilmer of Strathroy. She was predeceased by her son Darryl Roche (2024) and his wife Shannon Lee (Smale) (2022), brothers, sisters, and in-laws, Gordon (2022) and Carolann (Stephenson) McDonald (2019), Gervase (2022) and Alice McDonald (1993), Ed (2012) and Joanne (2022) McDonald, and Elizabeth (2003) and Bob (2008) Cummings. A private family gathering was held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, in Dashwood. At Vivian’s request, cremation will take place.
