KENNEY: Joseph “Joe” of Lucan

Unexpectedly at his home after a long battle with cancer, on Thursday, March 9, 2023 of Lucan at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Wanetta (Stonefish) Kenney. Proud father of Wanda Kenney and Dave Beirling. Dear brother of Doris Kirk. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Florence Kenney, grandson Joshua Joseph Kenney, and his siblings Bill and Wilma Kenney, Rena and Earl Thompson, Doug and Florence Kenney, Wally and Bonnie Kenney, Eva and Gerald Tyler, Russell Kirk, and Mary and Silvano Massa.

Joe was a proud member of Caldwell First Nations. He enjoyed a game of euchre, shooting a game of pool, or hanging out watching tv. Joe was proud that he lived in Lucan the bulk of his life and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Monday evening from 5 – 7 PM. Registration is appreciated. Please click “Register Now” below, to register.

Joe’s funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 14th at 11 AM. Cremation to follow with interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
