I was really sorry to hear of Judy’s passing, and am thinking of all of you at this difficult time. When I hung around with Colleen when we were young we often met up with Judy in our travels and at the occasional family function I attended. One summer I did some cleaning for her, and as I worked she regaled me with tale after entertaining tale. I just thought she was hilarious – one of the funniest people I’ve ever known.

Judy has always had a special place in our hears and will continue to do so until we meet again. Our friendship of 52 years had a strong foundation built on love and respect, She was the kind of friend that every person yearns for – kind, understanding and never judgemental. Her spirit was unmatched. Judy was an exceptional friend in so many ways.

She so represented the words of the song we sang together so many times at Medway High…………”Walk on, walk on, with hope in ;your heart and you’ll never walk alone”

We were blessed to be a part of her life.

Condolence from Judy McDonald on December 27th, 2010 12:31 AM

There are those few people in life whom you have the pleasure of knowing who always leave a smile on your face when thoughts of that person come to mind. Judy is among those few on my list, and I will treasure the times I was in her company and the stories that come to mind when I think of her. I was fortunate to meet Judy through her sister, Mary, my very good friend. I know of the special relationship among the Kennedy family members, and so I know how much Judy will be missed. Judy gave us all laughter and will continue to do that for us as we recall her moments in our lives. I consider that a special gift from a very special lady. May memories of the joy of having her among us replace the sadness we all feel at this time.
