My dearest friends Linda, Mike, Nathan and Vicky and their families
It truly shocked me to my core when I heard about Kens passing especially since Cam had passed the same day. What are the chance that two good friends would die on the same day I still can’t get over it.
I have told this story many times over the last few days of how Cam and I met and it was because he was friends with Mike and I was friends with Linda. He was already at Ma and Pa Jones in the living room to pick up Ken when I went to get Linda. We all headed for the same bar in Huron Park. The Albatross.
I danced with both Ken and Cam and Linda is telling her brother to leave me alone lol. Afterwards we went back to Cam’s for a after party. Ken was trying his best but I only had eyes for Cam and the rest is history there.
We remained good friends with both Ken and Linda to this day.
Ken worked roofing in Exeter with Cam for many years before heading to Owen Sound and even then he would call or stop by whenever he was in the area.
I am sure yesterday as we were having the final service for Cam they were up there having one heck of a party with the music loud, the joints rolled and the beer and scotch open with all the many friends and family that had passed before them. Heaven will never be the same and God will be wondering WTF he was thinking taking them both at the same time. I’d also like the answer to that question.
We will get through this but there will be tears and why’s and wtf were you thinking God.
Love you guys with all my heart
Bonnie and the boyz

So sad to hear of Ken’s passing. Partied with him growing up in Huron Park, and hung out with him in Owen Sound with the Peats. Carol always said Ken was one of the best, hardest working roofers they ever had. He was such a great step dad to those boys. He will be greatly missed!

It was sad news to hear . I met Jonesy over 50 years ago through Cam. Many good memories. Recently spent many days and evenings, weekends hanging out together at Rock the Park. He met a few of my friends who remember him as a great bud to party with for many years enjoying a lot of great bands. He’ll be missed by many. Sorry to all friends and family for your loss.
