Valenta Family,

We cannot begin to imagine how difficult a journey you are on right now. We do pray that God will give you peace and the comfort that He alone can give. It is nice to see the pictures on this site of Jonathan, because we haven&&single&&t seen him in years. We still remember his happy smile and enthusiastic play as he interacted with the other boys at homeschooling events.

We grieve with you, we weep with you, and we pray for you.

Condolence from Karen Bierma on July 7th, 2011 9:00 AM

Kathy & family, Gerald & Pat. I am so very sorry you are having to deal with the loss of your Son, Brother, Grandson. Such a loss. Please know that you are in my prayers. I think I have an idea of what you are feeling right now. I have said it many times, since Fred&&single&&s death, that there is no way that I could have gotten through this without the strength I received from God. Rely on that. Many are praying and I am sure you will feel the strength and comfort by those who are upholding your family in prayer at this time.
With Christ you will manage.

God Bless
Karen Bierma

Condolence from Steven & Danielle Goodwin on July 5th, 2011 11:00 PM

Dear Kathy, Alicia, Katrina, Natasha, Nanna & Poppa:

I&&single&&m so very truly sorry for the loss of your cherished son, brother and grandson. As I looked to the Scripture for a comforting word, this is the one that stood out to me:

2 Corinthians 5:5-8 “Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”

In the times that you feel his loss most strongly in your hearts, I pray that the Lord will remind you of Jonathan&&single&&s soul, rejoicing in its new freedom in paradise.

My sincerest sympathies and prayers for your comfort during this time and for the years to come as you adjust and honour his memory.

Blessings,

Steven & Danielle Goodwin
