Today is the 10th anniversary of my 18 year old son&&single&&s passing and my heart breaks for all of you – family, friends, schoolmates. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

We cannot begin to imagine how difficult a journey you are on right now. We do pray that God will give you peace and the comfort that He alone can give. It is nice to see the pictures on this site of Jonathan, because we haven&&single&&t seen him in years. We still remember his happy smile and enthusiastic play as he interacted with the other boys at homeschooling events.

I got to know Johnathan pretty well over the year and a half that i worked with him at the cobblestone. He always knew how to put a smile on people&&single&&s faces or how to make them laugh, he was just a very good natured guy and everyone at the cobblestone loved him. I know that i will miss him like crazy and i hope that he is off in a better place watching all the best movies and playing all the best video games. RIP Johnathan Valenta

Jon will be greatly missed. We will cherish the wonderful memories we have and never forget how loving and caring Jon was.

2 Corinthians 5:5-8 “Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”

In the times that you feel his loss most strongly in your hearts, I pray that the Lord will remind you of Jonathan&&single&&s soul, rejoicing in its new freedom in paradise.

My deepest condolences to the Valenta family. While I didn&&single&&t know Jonathan personally, it is clear he had a great impact on a lot of people in his all-too-short 22 years. He won&&single&&t be forgotten any time soon.
