Gloria and Floyd and families. Sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Pearl. I have so many memories of hanging out with your family over the years. Mom and her were always galavanting around with their uber driver (Gloria, ya you) shopping and sight seeing. I think the big draw was just to have lunch out and to get more yarn, as if they didn’t have enough. Good times, good memories. ’til next time. Love to you all…Doris

Dear Gloria and Floyd
Our condolences about Aunt Pearl’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Gloria, Shelley, Floyd, Mary and the entire family in the recent loss of grandma Pearl. I know we all miss her very much. She and I had a very special relationship. We attended every Johnston family get together over the last half century and always enjoyed her warm hug and big smile upon our arrival. I enjoyed many long talks with Pearl on those occasions. She always took keen interest in my life and that of our family. Like Pearl, rest assured her “Pearl’s Pickles” recipe will never be forgotten and will be enjoyed by many generations to come. I take great comfort in knowing that Bruce and Ron met her at the gates!
In loving memory,
Steven and Maryann Dow and family.
Sending hugs and prayers to the family!

Carol is right, she was part of our family; a warm friendly presence during all my years growing up. Pearl was indeed a gifted quilter. She made a quilt for each one of our parents’ children and grandchildren. Each one is unique and treasured.
We are all so lucky to have had her in our lives!
