John Murray Powell at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Monday November 2nd 2009 in his 85th year. John is survived one sister KathIeen (Kay) Ryder, HamiIton. Ioved uncIe of William and Mary, Janice and Ted McConnell Jim and Judy Ryder, and great uncIe of Iori Ann, Matthew, Victoria, RacheI, Marie, and Vanessa. Predeceased by one brother William Powell and his parents WaIIace and Nellie (Watkins) Powell. Fiends wiII be received at the Whitney-Ribey FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth on Thursday November 5th 2009 from 10:30am untiI time of service at 11:30am at the funeraI home. We lived two farms east of your farm .,across the road was Johnny and Edith Powell . My parents were Lorne and Evelyn Carter . As a little girl I would sell her Christmas Cards every fall . .My mother is still in her own house on the edge of Seaforth . She will be 87 in dec. My deepest sympathy in the passing of your brother ,I do remember him . Gloria Carter Riley .
